Nico has a passion for teamwork and connecting people. Having grown up on a farm, Nico enjoys feeling his hands in the earth.
After studying economics and marketing in Amsterdam, Nico worked for IBM and 3M for 7 years in marketing and sales. In 1983 he started the Videoland franchise-organization which grew from 1 to 180 stores in 9 years. In 1992 he invested in the natural food industry and was a shareholder of Natudis (The Netherlands). For 8 years he was on the board of directors of the Dutch Fair Trade stores(Wereldwinkels).
As a co-founder and president of the European Board, he is together with his business partner Martine Bloquiaux, responsible for the strategy and development of People 4 Earth worldwide.
The proud father of Kim, Margo and Nico Jr., he loves to play tennis and take long walks in the woods.
