We offer one comprehensive framework for standardized product sustainability information that serves as a common language to facilitate the exchange of information for all worldwide products in any stage of sustainability throughout their supply chains. The resulting standardized information can be used in communication and strengthens the credibility, transparency and recognition of your initiatives.
Unlike other systems that are industry or trade specific, People 4 Earth's framework was developed to recognize and coordinate easily with existing global systems, labels, and standards. It is in the process of being recognized worldwide by many large organizations, NGOs, and governmental authorities.
Here's how it all comes together...
Through our Sustainability, Accounting, and Management System (SAMS), we can assist small to large businesses in measuring the aspects of sustainability of a product, by providing direction to improve product sustainability, and translating the results into standardized credible information to communicate.
SAMS is based on the framework which is categorized under two broad headings—PEOPLE and EARTH, which in turn rest on four pillars—PURE, FAIR, LIFE, and RENEW. Each pillar, in turn, is broken down into three principles, thus creating a total of 12 principles.
MEASURE sustainability
SAMS helps businesses measure product sustainability throughout the supply chain. Through online questionnaires, you are provided with a detailed profile of the sustainability of your product or service. The system is time efficient because it recognizes other available systems and standards worldwide, and is based on People 4 Earth's framework.
IMPROVE sustainability
A simple reporting tool provides an overview of the sustainability of your product or service, delivering potential "quick wins". The framework enables you to choose a desired future sustainability profile, and then start working towards it. Where necessary, People 4 Earth will facilitate cooperation for shared solutions by using our network: connecting you to experts and companies with hands on experience in specific areas of sustainability.
COMMUNICATE sustainability
This framework provides an innovative, low cost solution to documenting all aspects of sustainability for mainstream products and services, and is geared toward providing transparency to international supply chains and rewarding progress. All businesses and their international supply chains can use the system in an inexpensive and highly effective way, so that each link in the chain receives the correct standardized information with minimal uptake time involved.
