People 4 Earth offers companies several avenues to communicate their application of the framework and ongoing progress. Key among them are the sustainability score - a visual representation of the extent to which the product meets the criteria of the framework.
The sustainability score illustrates which of the 108 criteria in the framework are met by the product in question. It is an information source for consumers and all other stakeholders with an appetite for detailed sustainability information about a product. Companies can start communicating their product in score after monitoring and validation of the measurement results by an independent, risk-based auditor.
