People 4 Earth is a global non-profit organization improving the well-being of people and the health of our planet by providing a Sustainability Accounting and Management System and framework for products and services.
Who we are
People 4 Earth is advancing a healthy future for people and the planet by transforming sustainable production and consumption from niche to mainstream markets. We are working to influence both consumer awareness and behavior as well as to inspire companies to develop safe and healthier products while protecting the environment and social labor standards throughout the product chain.
Founders Vision
We formed People 4 Earth as an organization by the people, for the people and planet and invite you to get involved, help, inspire and create a fair and sustainable world for all. Through transparency, simplicity, synergy and integrity we can address the social and ecological challenges we face as they stand in relationship with the economical and financial tensions in the world. Only by taking a stand and balancing heart and head will we make an impact. Whether it is as an individual or as a group, we are all an intrinsic piece of the puzzle and together we can make a difference!

Structure and funding
People 4 Earth is a global organization intended to match the footprint of most international operations and product chains. We are currently headquartered in the Netherlands.
Co-founders Martine Bloquiaux and Nico Broersen have permanent seats on the Board of Directors. The Board of Inspiration continues to improve the People 4 Earth vision and adds their professional and technical expertise to the initiative.
People 4 Earth is an associate member of ISEAL, an international non-profit organization that codifies best practices for the design and implementation of social and environmental standards initiatives. We subscribe to the ISEAL Code of Ethics and the ISEAL Code of Good Practice for Setting Social and Environmental Standards.
People 4 Earth is privately funded by co-founders Nico Broersen and Martine Bloquiaux. However, as the organization has grown, we need additional revenue generated through grants and business partnership fees to supplement our operating expenses in order to further our mission.
