Martine BloquiauxMartine Bloquiaux is Co-Founder and Chair of the Board of People 4 Earth. Since its inception, about 3,5 years ago, Martine has consulted and worked worldwide with many stakeholders and experts in the sustainability field. Martine has a J.D. and began practicing law in her native Belgium. Soon afterwards, she specialized in international business and marketing and lived and worked in Europe, Asia and the United States. She has worked for companies such as MasterCard and Manpower in international marketing projects such as the launch of Maestro worldwide.

Martine currently resides in Philadelphia and is primarily involved with the strategy of People 4 Earth and its PR and partnerships worldwide. She loves art and the outdoors, and is the proud mother of two college sons, Nick and Tommy.

Nico BroersenNico has a passion for teamwork and connecting people. Having grown up on a farm, Nico enjoys feeling his hands in the earth.

After studying economics and marketing in Amsterdam, Nico worked for IBM and 3M for 7 years in marketing and sales. In 1983 he started the Videoland franchise-organization which grew from 1 to 180 stores in 9 years. In 1992 he invested in the natural food industry and was a shareholder and CEO of Natudis (The Netherlands). For 8 years he was on the board of directors of the Dutch Fair Trade stores(Wereldwinkels).

As a co-founder and CEO, he is together with his business partner Martine Bloquiaux, responsible for the strategy and development of People 4 Earth worldwide.

Jack van HamMr. Jack (J.H.) van Ham, former chairman of the board of ICCO. Mr. van Ham lives in Zevenbergen (NL), is married and has 2 children and 2 grand children.

He has an impressive career in the non-profit world with his main functions being in chronological order: HRM manager, project manager reorganization, member of the board of management and eventually general manager of the Dutch Red Cross organization. He switched to the Dutch ICCO organization in 2001, where he became general manager and from 2009 he chaired this organization in his capacity as chairman of the board.

He retired from ICCO in 2010 and has expressed his willingness to join the board of People 4 Earth, where his experience in the non-profit world will be of much importance. Besides he has a number of other functions in various organizations varying from religious organizations to non-profits which are working in the sustainability field like FSC and advisory boards like that for sustainable energy of Eneco.

colin j  williams-100Colin is one of the most senior and successful executives in the global packaging industry with a thorough understanding of the key business drivers in many sectors.

He is a business leader with character and independence of mind. His style is open, supportive and consensual. He understands critical success factors and his strategic and analytical skills contribute to the Board and its committees.

In 2006, Colin was appointed to the Board of Directors of Turkcell, a mobile phone operator in Turkey. He serves as a Voting Member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Turkcell's Board of Directors. He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Treofan, a packaging film company, with activities in Europe, North America and South Africa. He is Chairman of Clondalkin, a consumer and industrial packaging company.

Colin served as President of SCA, North America, which is active in the packaging sector, personal care an paper tissue products. From 1988 to 2001, he was the President of SCA Packaging, prior to which he served as the Managing Director of Bowater, a corrugated packaging company, for four years. From 1978 to 1984, he was first the Sales Director and then the General Manager of Chicopee in The Netherlands, a non-woven fabrics company of Johnson & Johnson.

Colin Williams holds an MBA degree in finance from NYU, and M.Sc. degree in physical chemistry and a doctorate from Lund University in Sweden. He is married with two grown-up children.

Alisa GravitzFor over 27 years, Alisa Gravitz has led Green America, the national green economy organization.

Green America (formerly Co-op America) develops marketplace solutions to social and environmental problems with a key focus on tackling climate change, building fair trading systems, stopping corporate abuse and growing the green economy. Green America's major events and publications include Green Festivals, the Green Business Conference, National Green Pages and Real Green. Green America operates the nation's largest green business and green consumer networks.

Ms. Gravitz is a leading expert on how families and businesses can "go green," saving money and resources. She is also a nationally recognized leader in the social investment industry. She authored Green America's acclaimed Guide to Social Investing, with over a million copies in print and the popular Guide to Community Investing. The 1% in Community Campaign, a joint program of Green America and the Social Investment Forum, has moved over $2 billion into community investments from social investment portfolios.

Ms. Gravitz's board service includes Ceres, Positive Future Network, Network for Good, People 4 Earth and the Underdog Ventures Foundation. She earned her MBA from Harvard University and her BA in economics and environmental sciences from Brandeis University. Green America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
